Tri-ME is not a faceless corporate entity. Tri-ME is owned and managed by athletes who live, train, and race in Maine. We know most of our hundreds of athletes personally. We listen to your ideas and try to incorporate them into our company. We are dedicated to this incredible state and the awesome people who live here. We support the communities that host our events by giving a percentage of our race revenues to local charities and organizations. Tri-ME is athlete-driven. We began Tri-ME for the athletes and it will always remain that way. We understand the trust that you put in our events when you sign up and we take that trust very seriously. Our first priority, always, is to make sure that every single one of our athletes is taken care of from start to finish, and beyond. We measure success by the post-race surveys and e-mails we receive. And, because we are competitive athltetes, we always strive to do better. Tri-ME is a collection of the best races in Maine. With 9 races lined up for 2007, Tri-ME provides one of the most comprehensive and exciting collection of triathlons available anywhere. Some are managed by Tri-Maine Productions, others are independenly owned an operated. All Tri-ME events are carefully selected for their quality of management. We work with race directors throughout the state to create one of the premier race series in all of the US. Tri-ME is a brand of excellence, and we demand nothing less from our partner events. With our comprehensive system of rankings, you are able to track your progress against all the other athletes in Maine throughout the season. If you do three or more races in one season, you will be officially ranked and qualify for awards. Tri-ME is a community. Come to any Tri-ME event and chances are you will recognize a lot of the people there. Our goal is to create races that invite comraderie, mutual support, and strong friendships among participants. We strive to make our events both welcoming for first-timers and exciting for experienced triathletes. Many of our athletes volunteer at the events they don't compete in.
